Jerry Deex is a real estate professional with experience in small business valuation and sales, commercial real estate valuation and sales, and tax distressed property acquisition. His latest project was building a portfolio of residential rental property by purchasing distressed property, renovating, and exchanging for better positioned units. This process sharpened his valuation skills, property management skills, and successful completion of property sales and 1031 exchanges.

Prior to his real estate career, Jerry worked for a major automobile company. One of his most interesting roles was as a Site Selection Analyst for new dealership placement. This job used a variety of data, including traffic flows, demographics, and vehicle registrations, to select ideal locations for new car dealerships. This work revealed the science behind the art of selecting successful retail locations, which is crucial for multi-million-dollar investments.

Jerry has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas, Austin, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an Honorable Discharge from the United States Marine Corps after four years of active duty service.
