Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego

Volunteered in the cafeteria at Children’s Hospital to provide hot meals to parents of urgently admitted children, often arriving from distant locations without essentials due to emergency situations. Assisted in creating a comforting environment for those staying at the Ronald McDonald House during their child’s recovery period.

Founded by Jesse Billauer, Life Rolls On is a nonprofit that enhances the lives of young people with spinal cord injuries through adaptive surfing and skating. Established in 2001 and recognized as a 501(c)(3) by 2002, the organization annually impacts hundreds of thousands.
Annual “From Sea to Shining Sea” Tour: This tour features athletic events across the U.S., from Southern California’s iconic surfing spots to New York and Nova Scotia, spreading hope and freedom to participants. Video Clip from 2016 La Jolla Event https://youtu.be/sWspIy9B1Xw

Hope Leadership Foundation

In partnership with Leadership Foundations of America, Hope Leadership Foundation is a youth ministry serving the San Diego Unified School District. Aimed at empowering children from kindergarten through college, HLF offers mentorship in education, sports, recreation, and spiritual growth to foster life success.

Volunteer

Foundation Lane, Phase II – El Cajon Home Building
Volunteered with San Diego Habitat for Humanity on the second phase of the El Cajon project, constructing 7 single-family homes. Each home features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, wraparound porches, and carports, covering 1,283 square feet and designed for Energy Star 3.0 efficiency. The project builds on the success of the first phase initiated in 2009 with support from the Jimmie Johnson Foundation. During the 2015 Home Builders Blitz, major construction companies built the first four homes in just 5 days, with the final two homes currently being completed by volunteers.

Volunteer

For over 20 years, I have volunteered time and donated funds to Walking On Water Surf Day Camps in San Diego and Orange County, serving thousands of students globally. I support camps for children aged 6-14, facilitating the development of surfing skills from beginner to advanced levels.
Additionally, I sponsor Walking on Water Movies, contributing to various film production needs including technical equipment, travel costs, and language translations. This involvement aids in the production and enhancement of surf-related films.
